hold up Danny DeVito directed the most influential film of my childhood?

Not only directed it but starred in it, took care of Mara Wilson (Matilda) while her mother was in hospital with cancer and even managed to get an advanced copy of the movie for her to watch before she succumbed to her illness. The man is a treasure.

He also got the entire crew to dance along with Mara Wilson while filming the “little bitty pretty one” scene because she was self-conscious.

this is my favorite art program. it’s *much* more intuitive than photoshop/gimp or corel paintshop, but it still has the full functionality of a digital art program (layers, brush stabilizer, etc.). it’s not overwhelming to start on like practically every other decent art program I’ve tried, you can just pick a brush and start drawing as if it were paper if you want. plus you can download extra brushes for free! and they publish free art tutorials pretty regularly

ANYONE looking for a free art program: worth looking into.

YALL I LOVE THIS PROGRAM, especially the ipad version!! and i’m psyched that i don’t have to pay $30 a year for it anymore!!!

If you need a program to draw with that is free, Autodesk Sketchbook is a really good program. Coming from a pirated Paint Tool Sai, this program is smooth, has great pressure sensitivity, and doesn’t make me twitchy about if it’s going crash on me.

I HIGHLY RECCOMEND GETTING AUTODESK SKETCHBOOK. PLEASE GET IT NOW THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT ANYMORE.
